About

This is an intermittently updated blog where I spew rants about food production, consumption, and culture, primarily with a British Columbia angle.   I grew up on a cattle ranch and have always been fascinated by agricultural policies, farm economics, and what we eat.  I started this blog before I read  Michael Pollan, and after reading his books, I realized much of what I wanted to say has already been said by him but much better.  I got kind of discouraged and stopped updating the blog. However, it’s a new year and there is much to write about. Agricultural and food policies in Brtish Columbia still inspire me to say something, even if by way of blog.  Hope you enjoy.
